Evaluation of weatherization referral program, Central Valley, California

This program establishes novel linkages between at-risk residents in Central Valley and weatherization services. These services are expected to improve the efficiency of homes while also reducing health risks and subsequent adverse health outcomes among participants. WildBlue Evaluation has partnered with University California, Davis to investigate implementation characteristics and effects among participants.

Evaluation of healthy housing initiative out of Miami, Florida

This evaluation captures post-intervention characteristics among participants to an energy coaching program. This program used in-home demonstrations, hands-on repairs, and education about maintenance and use of the home's energy system. Outcomes include retention of factual information, intention to act on retained knowledge, new behaviors around energy and water conservation, as well as reduction in related health risks.

Behavioral health and health outcomes study resulting from rural community heat action plan in southern Mexico

WildBlue Evaluation has partnered with the Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública evaluating a multi-year, multi-site heat action plan across Chiapas, Mexico. Through social science surveys and biological sampling across enrolled households, this evaluation will determine the effect of a suite of interventions to prevent and reduce heat-related illnesses among people living at risk to extreme heat.
